Home food deliveries

If you have a family, the chances are that shopping can be a little stressful on occasion. Even when you have the benefit of being able to leave the kids at home, the weekly shop can take a big chunk of time out of your day, and it can be frustrating when you forget something and need to go back for it later.

Plenty of people have already discovered the benefits of home deliveries, and supermarkets are opening up more delivery slots to meet the increase in demand. So, why not take advantage of the extra time it can bring and reduce your car journeys at the same time? Aside from regular one-hour delivery slots, you can often get a cheaper 4-hour slot, or if you need things faster, some offer speedy delivery, either direct, or through apps like Uber Eats and Deliveroo.

Working from home

If you have the chance to work from home, even just one day a week, it can make a big difference. You’ll save both time and money by cutting down on your commute, and you’ll avoid the stress that can come with commuting. Plus, having a day at home can give you a chance to focus without distractions, enjoy a more relaxed morning routine, and even fit in little things like a longer breakfast or a midday walk with your dog. It’s a small change that can really improve your week!

On top of that, it’s great for the environment. Fewer journeys mean lower emissions, helping to reduce your carbon footprint while still getting your work done.

Have a chat with your line manager about the possibility of working from home. They can help figure out what works best for you and your team while keeping things running smoothly.
